To the occurrence of a stonefly Leuctra nigra (Olivier, 1811) (Plecoptera, Leuctridae) in streams of North Moravia (Czech Republic)
Abstract: Leuctra nigra has been still abundant species in running waters of North Moravia. Our results agree with them given by Raušer (l956). Data published by Soldán et al. (1998) do not correspond with the present reality.

K výskytu pošvatky Leuctra nigra (Olivier, 1811) (Plecoptera, Leuctridae) v tocích severní Moravy
Pošvatka Leuctra nigra je stále hojným druhem v tocích severní Moravy. Naše výsledky jsou ve shodě s údaji Raušera (1956, 1962). Informace uvedené v práci Soldána et. al (1998) o tom, že tento druh je na severní Moravě relativně vzácný jsou zavádějící. Leuctra nigra nepatří na severní Moravě k mizejícím druhům.
In the present paper published records of Leuctra nigra on North Moravia, Czech Republic and Slovakia are summarized and discussed. New localities from North Moravia are given.

Leuctra nigra is widespread species both in Europe and in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The species shows relatively wide ecological valency (Illies 1955, 1978, Raušer 1956, 1962, 1977, Křelinová 1962, Winkler 1957, Soldán et al. 1998). It is a (xeno)-oligo-betamezosaprobic species (Mrázek et al. 1983).
About 50 years ago both in the Jeseníky Mts and in the Moravskoslezské Beskydy Mts the species was found as very abundant: 30 sites in the Jeseníky Mts, 12 sites in the Moravskoslezské Beskydy Mts (Raušer 1956). Contrary to above given Soldán et al. (1998) consider the species on North Moravia as well as on Moravia as relatively rare. They found only four localities from the whole territory of Moravia (see Fig. 38 in their paper).
New records given in the present paper verify that Leuctra nigra has been still abundant species in this region. It is not a disappearing species in North Moravia. Data published by Soldán et al. (1998) do not correspond to contemporary occurrence of this species here.
Leuctra nigra is not included neither in the Red List of Germany (Zwick 1984) nor in the Czechoslovak Red Data Book (Škapec et al. l992).
